The greatest Mr. Tom Swan
There has always been a little confusion about my name. I went by Jeff Jackson to some and Jay Jackson to others. Around my sophomore year the district and I came to a mutual agreement. I wouldn't come back to school and they wouldn't look for me or turn me in. I was a messed up kid from the wrong side of the tracks but I was smart enough to understand how exceptional the 76 class was. There were so many natural leaders, care givers, and just incredibly great people that you knew could be anything they ever wanted to be. Thank God I took the time to learn from my classmates because I've had a great career and I've retired and get to play golf with my sons and gradsons. So that is why when asked I am so proud to say I was a tiny part of the South Houston High School class of 1976!! I hope to see some of those outstanding people at the reunion. GO TROJANS!!!! |
